The organizing committee of the 8th JFPS International Symposium on Fluid Power, Okinawa 2011 is soliciting participants for oral presentations in organized and ordinary technical sessions on the following topics:

　2. Medical and Welfare Equipments (OS)
　3. Robotics and Mechatronics (OS)
　4. Water Hydraulics (OS)
　5. Applications of control theory
　6. Basic theory and technologies
　7. Energy saving and environment
　8. Fluid components and systems
　9. Hydraulic units and air compressors
　10. Information technology and fluid power systems
　11. International exchange and education
　12. Micro/nano machines
　13. New industrial applications of fluid power systems
　14. Others

Prospective Authors for technical sessions should first submit an abstract for consideration. All abstracts must be submitted by 15 January 2011. Initial screening of papers will be done on the content and merit of abstracts.

During the conference, the organizing committee of The 8th JFPS International Symposium on Fluid Power 2011 will give awards for Best Student Paper for their pioneering work in the fields of Fluid Power.

The organizing committee requires that authors will be able to present their own papers at the symposium.
