Welcome to ISFP2011

On behalf of the Japan Fluid Power System Society (JFPS), we are delight to host the 9th JFPS International Symposium on Fluid Power in Matsue, Shimane Japan, on October 28-31, 2014.
The symposium will be addressing recent developments in fluid power technologies including water hydraulics and functional fluid, and will include presentations on basic researches, applications and case studies.
The main theme of the 2014 symposium is “Energy Saving and LCA Design in Smart Fluid Power System.” The object of the symposium is to provide a forum to exchange ideas and opinions on current and newly developing technologies for researchers and engineers from around the world.
State-of-the-art exhibition of fluid power systems and components will place special emphasis on industrial applications and their engineering backgrounds.
Matsue city is the seat of the prefectural government of the Shimane, where magnificent castle was reconstructed. The symposium will be held at Kunibiki Messe which is related old anecdote of Japanese gods and in the city many old Japanese goodness are preserved.
